Collaborative Art Workshops
Discover our Collaborative Art Workshop resources
Our carefully designed Collaborative Aboriginal Art resources invite groups from ages 3+ to connect with Indigenous culture through art. Each large canvas features an original Aboriginal design by a talented artist, incorporating animal and environmental silhouettes inspired by themes like the Outback, Reef, Rainforest, and River, allowing your clients to participate in completing the artwork. Perfect for childcare centers, schools, businesses, and community events. These resources encourage teamwork and creativity using acrylic paints or paint pens. Once completed, they become beautiful, meaningful artworks for any space.
How does the Collaborative Art Workshop Work?
- Contact Our Cultural Conversations to arrange a time to discuss the delivery of the Collaborative Art Workshop at your service and pricing
- You choose the size and design of the canvas for your participants (e.g. 1m x 2m size canvas can accommodate between 10-15 participants)
- Artwork is designed by the facilitator (artwork silhouettes and designs are completed prior to workshop, over several days)
- The facilitator visits your service at a suitable date and time and sets up and delivers the activity with your participants
- The facilitator will bring the all the materials including artwork canvas and acrylic paint pens
- Your service will have a new artwork to display for your building that is hand painted and colored-in by your participants
Pricing varies depending on the size of the canvas and the complexity of the design.
If your workplace is located within the Cairns region, Our Cultural Conversations can also attend in person to facilitate the workshop and complete the artwork together with your clients at an extra cost.
Alternatively, Our Cultural Conversations can prepare the canvas in advance for you to use independently with your clients at a time that suits your schedule and organise delivery or postage to your location.
The copyright for the artwork design remains with the artist.

Testimonial
"Jason from Our Cultural Conversations, has been visiting us multiple times a year for the last 3 years now, and we absolutely love having him! He brings so much knowledge and experience to each visit, sharing cultural stories, playing the didgeridoo, and engaging the children in a really hands-on and meaningful way. The children always enjoy getting involved and learning through his stories and activities. Jason is warm, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable, and we always look forward to his visits!"
